Evelyn Lewis Taylor of Slidell passed away on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2015. She was 68 years old.

She was the beloved wife of Charles Henry Taylor; mother of Arthur Lewis Jr. and wife Joy, Tana Youngs and husband, Stephen, Chantal Cotton and husband, Troy, Tiffany Turner and husband Billy and Arthur Lewis III and wife Sheree and four stepchildren, Suzanne Taylor, Charles A. Taylor and wife, Tammy, Marie Taylor and Melissa Cooper; sister of David Crochet and wife Patty and Donna Parah and husband Matt; and daughter of the late Donald B. Crochet and Marjorie Lebouf Crochet.

She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
