Tyna “Tonya” Caprice Roberts, daughter of Thomas Joe Roberts and Mae Rose Roberts of Bogalusa, departed this life on Aug. 9, 2015, at Ochner Hospital in Kenner.

She attended Apostolic Faith at an early age. Later she resumed attended Apostolic Faith U.P.C. and was baptized in Jesus’ name.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Joe Roberts; her mother Mae Rose Roberts; one sister, Elaine Johnson; one brother, Thomas Wayne Roberts; and a grandson, Thomas Roberts.

She leaves to honor her memories her four children, three daughters, Jemeka (Kelton) Johnson, Brittany (Michael) Williams and Raven (Chris) Roberts, all of Bogalusa, and one son Booker (Kamal) Roberts of Mandeville; two stepdaughters, Priscilla Hatcher and Madelyon Hatcher, both of Bogalusa; five sisters, Shelia (William) Roberts, Brenda (Robert) Crumedy, Stephanie (Eric) Yarbrough, Laura (Laverne) Roberts and Tasha (Brian) McCree, all of Bogalusa; five brothers, Stanley Roberts of Beaufort, S.C., Willie (Karen) Roberts of Harvey, La., and John (Jada) Roberts, Tony (JoLynette) Roberts and Orlando Roberts, all of Bogalusa; grandchildren, Shawn L. Fox Jr., Alexis M. Roberts, JaMichael Roberts, Kennis Roberts, Kelsha N. Johnson, Kelton L. Johnson Jr., Kamiya Roberts, K’Lynn Roberts, Isaiah Bolton, Brooklynn Roberts and BreeLynn Roberts; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a family hour to follow from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, with Pastor Robert Crumedy officiating. Interment will be held in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
