The angel of death visited again and took from our midst Sebastian “Pete” “Cat Daddy” Peters. He was born to the late Charlotte F. Peters Hunter and Charles Bennett on Dec. 19, 1970. He departed this life on Aug. 7, 2015, in Bogalusa.

His childhood years were spent in Angie, where he was reared by Calvin and Myrtis Moses.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted mother, Myrtis Moses; his sister and brothers,  Alvin (Cynthia) Moses of Angie, Donice (Malcom) Moses of Bogalusa, Cedric (Earline) Moses of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Romella (Brisky) Ogbegor of Peoria, Ariz.; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Peters Hunter; stepfather, William Hunter; grandmother, Helen Morris; grandfather, Michael Peters; and his godfather, Calvin L. Moses.
Visitation is at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. A family hour is planned from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Angie, with the Rev. S. Burns, pastor, and the Rev. A. R. Moses officiating. Interment will be in Louis Moses Cemetery in Angie.
