Bernice Bickham Brown, age 68, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2015, at Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted husband, Richard Harold Brown Sr. of Bogalusa; two sons who she loved dearly, Richard Harold Brown Jr. of Bogalusa and Darren (Tamika) Brown of Houston; one sister, Katherine Price of Houston; two brothers, Larry (MaeOcea) Brown of Bogalusa and Robert Bickham Jr. of Houston; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandson; three brothers-in-law, Jimmy Lee Brown of Bogalusa, Milton (Quentina) Brown of Katy, Texas, and Clifton (Rosetta) Brown of Texas; two special cousins, Willie J. Clark of Hackley and Julia Dyson of Bogalusa; two special friends, Brittany Brock and Deborah Henry, both of Bogalusa; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Altha Brown Bickham; and one brother, Donnel Bickham.

Visitation will be Thursday, Aug. 13, 2015, from to 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a family hour to follow from 6 to 7 p.m., at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at 11 a.m. at First Church of God in Christ, with the Bishop Howard Quillen officiating. Interment will be held in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
