Jerrvonne Penton, 87 years old, was a native of Bogalusa, who went to meet the Heavenly Father on Aug. 1, 2015.

Ms. Penton was a faithful member of Thirkield United Methodist Church of Bogalusa. Jerrvonne, aka “Jerry” and “J,” left this life with her children and granddaughter at her side at AMG LTAC Hospital.

Viewing will be held at Thirkield United Methodist Church, 1108 Donnell St., Bogalusa, on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 1 p.m. until time for Going Home Service at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Nolan Robinson, pastor, officiating.
