Joe Fielding Adams, age 48, born in New Orleans, on July 23, 1966, passed away on July 7, 2015, in Jackson. Joe would have turned 49 on July 23, 2015.

Joe graduated from Clinton High School in Mississippi. He got his degree in accounting at the University of Southern Mississippi.

Joe was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Beth Bass Elvin.

Joe is survived by one son, Jon Adams; and one daughter, Harlon Adams, both of Kernersville, N.C.; his father, Jan Adams, and stepmother, Valette Adams, both of Bogalusa; sister, Jana (John) Norwood of Hattiesburg, Miss.; and brother, Jeff (Brae) Adams of Pittsford, N.Y.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Vick Kinnison officiating. The interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.

The active pallbearers will be Robert May, John Norwood, Tony Gill, Bill Laird, Michael Dunn and Adam May.
