David Thomas “Rocky” Helton, age 56, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He is survived by one son, David Miles Helton of Chicago; two sisters, Vicky (Greg) Pounds of Bogalusa and Tammy (Charlie) Fornea of Varnado; and three brothers, Charles (Pam) Helton, Allen (Sissy) Helton and Chad (Rochele) Helton, all of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson J. Helton and Opal Sue Penton Helton.

There was a graveside service on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at 11 a.m. in Ponemah Cemetery, with the Rev. Kelly Penton officiating.
