Richard Krebs

Richard Glen Krebs, born Feb. 5, 1940, passed away June 6, 2015, at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans at the age of 75. Richard served his country in the United States Navy and the United States Army Reserve. He was also a lifetime resident of Bogalusa and a member of Annunciation Catholic Church.

Richard is survived by his wife, Sue Daigle Krebs of Bogalusa; a daughter, Angela “Angel” Simmons and her husband, Bodie of North Carolina; a son, Richard Emile Krebs and his wife Mary of Houston; a brother, Joseph Krebs of Bogalusa; three sisters, Mary Krebs McDuff of Alabama, Patricia Krebs Leleaux of Crowley, La., and Agnes Krebs Armentor of Lake Charles; six grandchildren; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents, Emile and Elizabeth Gipson Krebs; a brother, William Krebs; and a sister, Juanita Fralick.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 10 a.m. until service time at 3 p.m. The Rev. Greg Whaley officiated the services. Interment followed in the Ponemah Cemetery.

There was a Rosary service at 1 p.m.
