Edith Genieve Talley, 86, of the Woodlands, went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2015. She was born on Dec. 14, 1928, in Bogalusa to Martin and Myrtis Adams.

Edith was married to the love of her life, Enoch Talley, for 61 years. From this union she was blessed with a large family, whom she loved dearly. She also had a fulfilling career as a nurse. Having already raised her children and completely dedicated to her patients in Baton Rouge, she established a breast care facility.

Visitation for Edith will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015, at Forest Park, The Woodlands, 18000 Interstate 45 S, The Woodlands, Texas, with a celebration of life at 11 a.m.
