Bogalusa resident Ruby Patterson Goff was called home to be with the Lord on May 23, 2015, after a long battle with illness at the young age of 73. She was born in Columbia, Miss., on Aug. 4, 1941, to the late Richard and Estelle Patterson.

Mrs. Goff was a 1959 graduate of Improve High School. She lived her life centered around God and her family. Mrs. Goff leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jimmy; and her daughters, Tammy Gipson Davis and Deborah Gipson Vitrano. She is also survived by granddaughters, Shauna Luebe Maciel, Sharon Luebe Egan, Ashley Vitrano Englande, Amy Vitrano, Abbey Vitrano and Angie Vitrano; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Patterso; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Goff’s life will be celebrated by those who love her at a memorial service at a later date.
