Daniel E. Fournet, born June 29, 1934, died Thursday, March 19, 2015.

He was the fourth child, second son, of Gladys Johnson and Emile J. Fournet of Bogalusa. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Georgette Wheat Fournet; a daughter, Sissy Diane Fournet Bennett (Webb); four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Sybil Cache, Margie Seals and Brenda Fournet; one brother, Emile Fournet; and many loved nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Olivia Yvette Fournet Burkes; a son, Daniel E. Fournet Jr.; a sister, Dorothy Fournet Burcham; and a brother, Sidney F. Fournet. Arrangements are pending with Poole Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa.
