Michael David Gerald, born June 16, 1958, passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on Feb. 25, 2015, at the age of 56. He was a native and long-time resident of Bogalusa and a member of I.B.E.W. Electrical Union.

He is survived by his son, Jay (Jennifer) Gerald of Baton Rouge; a daughter, Molly Gerald; two sisters, Debbie (Doy) Cotton and Rhonda (James) Watson, both of Bogalusa; a granddaughter, Lily Gerald; and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Anna Jeanette Gerald; his wife, Cathy Gerald; a brother, Gary Mark Gerald; and a sister, Linda Gerald Wise.

Visitation was held on Tuesday March 3, 2015, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will resume Wednesday morning after 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. The religious services will be conducted by the Rev. Fred Brumfield. There will be no interment services.
