Barbara Jean Zitzman Holden, age 73, born on Dec. 13, 1941, in New Orleans, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015, at her residence in Bogalusa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emile Zitzman Sr. and Antoniette Speer Zitzman.

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Holden (David) Franks; two sons, John Eric Holden and Vicky Molero and James Harris Holden; one brother, Emile Zitzman Jr.; one niece, Darnell Zitzman; five grandchildren, Justin and Mandy Franks, Hanna Rose Holden, Ashley Holden and Eric John Holden; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial Mass will be held at Annunciation Catholic Church on Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at noon. The Rev. Father Daniel Brouillette will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
