Ms. Janice Marie Lewis, age 60, departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at her residence in Varnado.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie Lewis of Varnado; two sons, Donald “Ro” (Nicole) Lewis Sr. of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Scottland “Scott” Lewis of Bogalusa; three grandchildren, Donald Lewis Jr., Kourtnee Lewis of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Passion Lewis of Bogalusa; one sister, Carolyn Devonnie (Cedric) Banks of Missouri City, Texas; two brothers, Joe Edward (Alva) Lewis Sr. of Bogalusa and Elgrie (Loletia) Lewis of Angie; special friend Bobby Sartin; three special sons, Tyrik Payne, Raymond Henry Jr. of Varnado and Matthew (Daneeka) Washington of Franklinton; four aunts; three uncles; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Curtis (Harriet) Owens, Otis Henry and Charlie (Wilma) Lewis; her daughter, Davonda Lewis; and two brothers, Ronald Lewis and Donald Lewis.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at Cook-Richman Funeral Home from 2 until 6 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church on Jones Creek Road in Varnado at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Dr. Alfonso Nelson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery in Varnado.
