Debra Ann Oliver, age 60, passed away Jan. 29, 2015, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She was a resident of Varnado. She was also a member of Ben’s Ford Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Max Oliver Sr. of Varnado; two sons, Robert Max Oliver Jr. of Franklinton and John Oliver of Varnado; one daughter, Lisa Sprehe of Varnado; one brother, Joel Parrott of Satsuma; one sister, Barbara Jane King of Watson La.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Doyle and Delores Price Parrott.

Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. Pastor Lynn Martin and Pastor Caleb Martin will officiate.
