Wessie Thomas Jones, age 86, went to be with her Lord on Jan. 26, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Thomas and a faithful and dedicated member of Faith Tabernacle Church of Pine. She was born on March 26, 1928, to Frank and Eunice Thomas.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl McLaurin and Carter, Eunice Moulliet and Keith and Shelia Gaines and Wayne; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith Jones and Barbara and Michael Jones and Tina; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Flora May Phillips of Tylertown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Wayne Jones; her parents, Frank and Eunice Thomas; three sisters, Frankie Faye Thomas, Mary Madeline Knight and Elma Raye Touchstone; and a brother, John Henry Thomas.

Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at Faith Tabernacle Church, with the funeral service to be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Jerry Cox, the Rev. Jeremiah McLaurin, the Rev. Chad Thomas and the Rev. Aaron Cox. Burial will follow in the Thomas Cemetery.

The pallbearers are Jarrod Jones, Jeremiah McLaurin, Stephan Jones, Kevin Gaines, Brandon Higginbotham, Kade Jones and Harrison Jones.
