Mary Kathleen Stephenson, a resident of Varnado, age 80, born on May 26, 1934, in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, passed away on Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Covington.

She is survived by her husband, James L. Stephenson of Varnado; one sister, Ellen Law of Ottawa, Canada; one brother, Grant Mollison of Canada; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Visitation will continue at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral services will be at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Bill Moon and the Rev. Ester Hammond officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
