Louise Elaine Barber was called home to her final resting place on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014.

Louise was born in Mt. Clemens, Mich., but spent her entire adult life in Franklinton with her late husband of 60 years and her children. While she worked most of her life as an accountant, Louise’s passion was her art, the subjects of which reflected all she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon.

She is survived by four children, Leanne Rushing, Loretta and Tony Wright, Lisa and Jeff Thomas and Leon David Barber; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Louise was 86 years young, enjoyed a long and beautiful life and will be missed by all who were privileged to know her.

Visitation will take place at Crain Funeral Home, 1109 Bene St. in Franklinton, on Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, from 9 until 11 a.m., with a memorial service and burial to follow.
