Gary Paul Jones, age 66 and a resident of Franklinton, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, at St. Tammany Hospital in Covington.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue Stringfield Jones of Franklinton; two daughters, Leigh Ann Jones and Amanda Gayle Jones and son-in-law, Clint O’Keefe, all of Franklinton; grandson, Owen Oliver O’Keefe; and three sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen Jones, Ellen Jones and Anita and Dana Bergeron of Gray, La.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Lexie Stafford Jones; and a brother, Richard Ellis Jones.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014, and after 9 a.m. Saturday.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Paul Watts and the Rev. Dale Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Knight Memorial Cemetery.
