Jeffery Arnold Johnson, born on June 7, 1969 and passed from this world to eternal life with his Lord on November 4, 2014.

Jeff graduated from Bogalusa High School in 1987 and attended Pearl River Community College and Southeastern University.

Eventually Jeff went to work for his dad at Discount Tire and later became manager and some time later became owner. When time would permit Jeff loved to hunt and fish. Jeff loved all kinds of vehicles but his passion was for the old classic cars. Jeff was the beloved son of George and Patsy Johnson. His passing will leave a hole in their hearts. The many customers to whom Jeff gave his personal attention will greatly miss his warm smiles, handshake and often a big “bear” hug.

Jeff is survived by his father and mother, George and Patsy Johnson; his uncle and aunt, Johnny and Henri-Ellen Johnson; his uncle and aunt, Don and Georgia Spiers; his aunt, Joann Talley; several cousins; other relatives and many friends.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman J. Johnson and Mary Johnson; his grandparents, Arnold Spiers and Estelle Spiers; his aunt, Paula Brown; uncle and aunt, Herman and Myree Johnson; uncle, Glynn Talley; a special cousin, Steve Brown.

Visitation was Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014 at First Baptist Church, 541 Avenue F, Bogalusa, 70427 from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. The Funeral Services were at 3 p.m. with Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Entombment followed at Sanctuary of Peace Mausoleum in Ponemah Cemetery.
