Downtown Main Street Program’s Harvest Fest is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 31, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The event on South Columbia Street will have plenty of activities and games for the children. Children’s activities will include hayrides, cakewalks, face painting, a gaming trailer, bumps and jumps, games, a costume contest for adults and children and plenty of candy.

Representatives with the Main Street program will be selling various food items, such as nachos, chili buns, hotdogs and soft drinks.

“We’re selling the food and soft drinks to keep this event free,” Main Street Manager Robin Day said.

South Columbia Street will be blocked off for the event from the 400 block to the 600 block.
