Joann P. Petrolia, age 66, passed away Aug. 15, 2014, at her residence here in Bogalusa.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Sorrell of Red Bluff, Calif., and David Lavinghouse of Bogalusa; one brother, John Otis Boone of Pine; sisters Betty Alsobrooks of Bogalusa, Joyce Lott of Bogalusa and Ann Noles of Bogalusa; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Rachael Rene Sorrell, parents John Davis and Audie Mae Boone and also a number of brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014, from 10 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Pounds Cemetery. The Rev. Wesley Quave will officiate.
