Jackie Yevonne “Joe” Patterson, age 77 and a resident of Bogalusa, departed this life on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at his residence.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, 2014, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa at 7 p.m. Dismissal will be Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.

Survivors include: one son, Jeffrey (Sallie) Bush of Sanford, N.C.; two sisters, Lentie Garner of Brookhaven, Miss., and Sarah Patterson of Baton Rouge; a brother, Debours (Thelma) Patterson of Milwaukee; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Carnell C. Patterson and Earnestine Stovall Patterson; wife, Betty Patterson; and one sister, MiShanna Davis.
