Mr. Leroy Bridges was welcomed into God’s kingdom at the age of 93, on May 24, 2014 at the Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa, La.
Leroy was employed at Crown’s Zellerbach for over 50 years. He was an exceptional employee and a model worker for those who worked with him.
Leroy too pride in keeping up his lawn/hedges, dressing well and looking his best for occasions. He also had a interest automobiles.
Leroy was faithful member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church for many years.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church – Bogalusa, La. from 10:45 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. with Elder Elzey Bridges, Sr. pastor of Antioch Church of Christ Holiness U.S.A., officiating.
Interment in the Bogalusa Cemetery.

Cherishing his memories are children, Milton (Martha), Melvin (Gloria), Elzey (Carolin) and Laura Ann (Paul); Sisters: Clenta Mae Davis, Elnora Hammons, Brothers U.Z. Bridges. Grandchildren: Carlotte Kimberly Brooks, Milton Bridges, Jr., Tammy Bridges, Gena Frazier, Kathy Pigott, Quondra Bridges, Shaundra Morris, and Elzey Bridges, Jr. fourteen great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
Proceding him in death his wife Hazel Smith Bridges, parents Seth and Eddie Bridges, six brothers and two sisters.
