Breland Family Reunion

The Breland Family Reunion will be held Saturday, May 17 at 5 p.m. at the Thomas Downtown Diner in Thomas (31044 Louisiana Highway 424, next to Thomas Frist Baptist Church). Most of the Brelands in the area are descendants of John Robertson Breland (1794-1875).

BHS Class of 1964 seeking classmates

The Bogalusa High School Class of 1964 will host its 50th reunion on July 12 at Bogalusa Country Club beginning at 6 p.m. Anyone knowing the addresses or contact information of the following people is asked to call Cheryl Douglas at 732-3583. Central Memorial Class of ’69

• The Central Memorial High School Class of 1969 will celebrate its 45th reunion May 30 through June 1. The cost for the three-day event is $50 per person. A T-shirt may be purchased for an additional fee. All classmates are welcome. Shirt sizes are due by May 3.

• A membership drive for all the ’69 classmates is under way. All past dues are forgiven. When you pay your $50 for the reunion that will go toward your dues for January-May 2014.

• Members of the Class of 1969 will meet the first Saturday of every month at 105 Bayer St. in Bogalusa.
