CARDIN

Mary Nell Cardin, 78, passed away Friday, April 25, 2014, at her residence in Bogalusa. Born on Feb. 18, 1936, she was a member of the Lions Club and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by three sons, David Dolan Parker of Elk Grove, Calif., Gregory Wayne Parker of Slidell and Steven Taylor Parker of Bogalusa; three brothers, John Everett Cardin and Oliver Cardin, both of Bogalusa, and John (J.W.) Waley Cardin of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Kitty Ann (Vernon) Crummey and Ruthie Jean (J.D.) Thomas, both of Bogalusa; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley John and Clydie Mullins Cardin; a daughter, Vivian Ann Parker Hall; a brother, William Cardin; and a sister, Carrie Mae.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
