Da’Kyia Re’Nee Simmons, was born on Sept. 24, 2013, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014.

Da’Kyia was the youngest of two, and attended Sylvia First Step Daycare where she was loved. She was a member of Magee’s Temple Church of God in Christ.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Juana Simmons of Franklinton; one sister, Deauna Simmons of Franklinton; her godparents, Barbara and Wayne James of Franklinton; her grandparents, Carla Simmons of Franklinton, Linda and Freddie Smith and Jeremy Smith, all of McComb, Miss.; and her great-grandparents, Donna and Wesley Oliver of Franklinton.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, April 23, at Magee’s Temple Church of God In Christ, with Superintendent Cecealine Tate, pastor, officiating. Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton is in charge of arrangements.
