War Crain family reunion

The annual War Crain family reunion will be held Sunday, April 27 at noon in the Pine High School cafeteria. Please let all your family members know the date and the new venue for the annual event.

Hard/Jones and Hickman reunion

All descendants of Hard/Helena Moore Jones and Buddy Eva Hickman are encouraged to attend a family reunion on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. There will be a potluck lunch at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church at 11 a.m. Eva Jones Graham will furnish all paper products and ice. Attendees are asked to bring photos or other mementoes to share. Thomas family reunion

The Thomas family reunion will be held Sunday, April 27 at the Pine Masonic Lodge Hall. Bring your family and a covered dish. Lunch will be at noon.

Sumrall Family Reunion

Alford family reunion

The annual reunion of the Jeptha Alford descendants will take place Saturday, April 26 at the Ruritan Club in Mt. Hermon. A short business meeting will take place at 11:30 a.m. and a potluck lunch will be at noon. Please bring your favorite dish to share. Ice, plates, utensils and iced tea will be provided. Terrace Reunion

A meeting will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Terrace School lunchroom to organize a Terrace Reunion. Those who live or have lived in the Terrace, and who worked or went to school in the Terrace, as well as anyone who attended Monroe Street Baptist Church, Terrace Mission or the Pentecostal Church in the Terrace are invited to come. The reunion will be held Saturday, July 19 at the Terrace School.

Central Memorial Class of ’63

The Central Memorial High School Class of 1963 will celebrate its 50th reunion Dec. 26-28. A planning meeting is set for today at 3:30 p.m. at Western Sizzlin, 1523 S. Columbia St., in Bogalusa, and all classmates are needed to attend.

Central Memorial Class of ’69

• The Central Memorial High School Class of 1969 will celebrate its 45th reunion May 30 through June 1, beginning with a Meet and Greet on Friday at 11 a.m. at the American Legion off of Sixth Street. A dance will be held at the same location at 8 p.m. A Family Day is set for Saturday at Cassidy Park, and on Sunday a church service will be held at 11 a.m., followed by a cookout at 105 Bayer St.

The cost for the three-day event is $50 per person. A T-shirt may be purchased for an additional fee. All classmates are welcome. Shirt sizes are due by May 3.

• A membership drive for all the ’69 classmates is under way. All past dues are forgiven. When you pay your $50 for the reunion that will go toward your dues for January-May 2014.

• Members of the Class of 1969 will meet the first Saturday of every month at 105 Bayer St. in Bogalusa.
