Franklinton suffered a 4-1 loss to Dominican in Wednesday’s non-district home game.

Dominican put up three runs in the third before FHS tallied in the fifth. Dominican added an insurance run in the seventh for the three-run victory.

Baylee Mixon went 3-for-4 with a double, while Shelby McDonald singled and drove in the run. Bethany Sandifer posted two hits, and Laken Spears added one.

Hannah Adams was the hard-luck losing pitcher, giving up no earned runs on nine hits with a strikeout and a walk in a complete-game effort.
