Lee’s Creek Baptist Church will celebrate Easter with three performances of “Keys to Redemption,” under the direction of Dr. Ric Watkins, and with piano arrangements by Mike Speck and Gordon Thomas.

Accompanying the choir playing two baby grand pianos in gospel-style will be Thomas and Watkins, who between them have been playing the piano for 94 years.

Under the direction of Watkins, Lee’s Creek music director for the past 10 years, the church’s Adult Choir, along with visiting singers, will present the Easter musical celebration on Good Friday and on Saturday, April 18-19, at 6 p.m., and on Easter Sunday at 2 p.m.

The public is invited to attend any of these performances, which will be held in the church sanctuary at 1803 Lee’s Creek Church Road in Bogalusa. A nursery will be provided for all events.

“These song collection medleys are sure to bring down the house,” said Watkins. Thomas added, “If you love southern gospel music you won’t be disappointed.”
