The Drama Club at Ben’s Ford Christian School will be presenting the school’s first musical, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” on Tuesday and Thursday for BFCS students. A night performance will be performed on Thursday at 6 p.m. and will be open to the public. The cost for this performance is $7 per person. Concessions will be available during the intermission, and a DVD will also be available for purchase.

“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” is based on the beloved “Peanuts” comic strip by the late Charles Schulz. BFCS junior high and high school students form the cast, and the stage and props have been built by students as well.

BFCS students in the cast are Caleb Jenkins as Charlie Brown, Daniel Crowe as Snoopy, Aerial Mathews as Sally van Pelt, Ashton McNeese as Lucy van Pelt and Jacob Crowe as Schroeder. Allen Barber is the pianist. The play is under the direction of Marsha Thibodeaux, BFCS English teacher, and Jennifer Noah.

The public is invited to attend Thursday’s performance.
