HODGES

Dorothy Mae Hodges, 68, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa. She was born in Washington Parish on Jan. 8, 1946.

She is survived by her husband, Willie F. Hodges of Bogalusa; one daughter, Kimberly (Fredrick) Smith; one sister, Marie Duhon; three brothers, Billy Carroll, Douglas Carroll and LeRoy Carroll; grandchildren, Drennon Smith and Natalyn Smith; and numerous stepchildren and step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Carroll and Dollie Adams Carroll; and two brothers, Charles Ray Carroll and John Carroll.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 28 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5:30-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Bro. Doyle Ball officiating. Interment will follow at Carroll Cemetery.
