The Bogue Lusa Chapeaux Rouge club held its January meeting at Bino’s Restaurant in Bogalusa.

Dianne Earles, Evelyn Holden and Betty Thomas were hostesses. Earles also celebrated a birthday, and restaurant owner Tony Gambino and his staff sang the birthday song to her at the end of the meeting.

During the meeting, Mayor Charles Mizell came in to celebrate his own birthday, and he was gracious enough to join in and have his picture made with the group. Mizell can be seen wearing a red hat for the picture. Elouise Parker and Sue Evans won the door prizes.

The February meeting was a tea at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Mickenheim, and Billy Sue McCullough and Alice Rushing were hostesses.

The March meeting was held at YoYo’ s, hosted by Marie King, Carolyn McGehee and Sue Evans.

The Bogue Lusa chapter has 19 paid supporting members.
