HARVEY

Born Aug. 11, 1933, she was a very giving and compassionate person who possessed and shared an abundance of wisdom and advice using the Bible as her guide. At home, “Love,” as she was affectionately called, had a passion for gardening. She tilled the soil and everything she planted flourished. Some of her crops included greens, peas, okra, tomatoes, peanuts, potatoes and many, many other wonderful vegetables. She had enough to share with family, neighbors and friends. In her employment Bernice served honorably.

Willie) Ward, Charlene Dillon and Annie Harvey; and two brothers-in-law, James (Ann) Harvey and A.C. Harvey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Adam and Mamie Lowe; her husband, Charles Harvey; one daughter, Jeanette Shaw; five sisters, Ozzie Mae (Dump), Octavia, Mae Ella, Vera Lee and Hearlie Mae; and two brothers, Willie J. and “Z.B.”
