Mildred Virginia Owen, 90, passed away Friday, March 14, 2014, at AMG Specialty Hospital in Bogalusa. She was a resident of Bogalusa and member of New Life United Pentecostal Church.

She is survived by one son, Charles Dennis Owen; a sister, Delma Toney; and grandchildren Casie Denman and Kerry Denman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hildridge Owen; a stepson, Albert Louis Owen; a daughter, Janice Sue Owen Denman; her parents, Charley and Lula Miley; and three brothers, Elmer Miley, R.V. Miley and Lloyd Miley.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 16 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home, 610 Ave F in Bogalusa, from 5-9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday from 9 a.m. until time for funeral services at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Wesley Quave and the Rev. Don Miley officiating. Burial will follow in Sam Carroll Cemetery.
