TULLOS

Mike Tullos, 57, a resident of Franklinton, born April 6, 1956, died at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 10, 2014.

He was an electrical engineer for Washington-St. Tammany Electric Co-op with 38 years of service and the owner of Tullos Electric for nearly 18 years. Mike was a member of Victory Baptist Church who enjoyed the great outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing alongside his family and especially enjoyed all the time spent with his grandsons as “hunting buddies” and at all their Little League ball games. Mike was a good cook who enjoyed hosting his friends and family, and he was forever a devoted son, father and grandfather. He was always a friend to all those that knew him.

He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Holly Tullos of Franklinton; three grandsons, Connor Tullos, Jacob Tullos and Grant Tullos; his mother, Esther Lou Jordan Tullos of Franklinton; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Rebecca Marie Tullos and Johnette and Leo Jacob all of Franklinton; friend and companion Tami Wareham of Franklinton; a special friend, Ralph Anthony of Franklinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Lewis Tullos, and grandparents, O.A. Tullos and Myrtis Jenkins Tullos and Hazel Sumrall.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 12 at Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. on Thursday. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Larry Archote, the Rev. Leon Hickman and the Rev. Paul Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill-Magee Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Darryl Cooper, Brian Jones, Jim Morgan, Joe Wilson, Skipper Crawford, Chad Angelo and Darrell Magee.
