The 2014 Angie/Varnado Concerned Citizens king, Joe L. Lewis Sr., visited Wesley Ray Elementary recently to read to a fifth-grade class during Louisiana Literacy Week, Feb. 10-14. The students enjoyed being read to so much that they are requesting that parents, guardians and community members visit their school to read to them.
