GLOVER

Richard L. “Ricky” Glover, born Nov. 3, 1962, passed away on Feb. 20, 2014, at his residence in Bogalusa at the age of 51.

He attended Plainview Baptist Church.

He is survived by his mother, Delores James of Bogalusa; his two sons, Richard Shawn Glover of Hammond and Wesley Shane Glover (Marie Childs) of Bogalusa; his sister, Tracie Owens of Bogalusa; his brother, Christopher Glover of Sun; his best friend, Sydney “Skip” Miller of Sun; numerous nephews, nieces and other family members; and numerous close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Glover Jr., and grandmother, Thelma Coleman Glover.

Visitation was held Sunday, Feb. 23 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until time for the service at 3 p.m. The Rev. Kelly Penton conducted the services, and interment followed in the Ponemah Cemetery.
