TATE

Theo Tate Jr., 80, a resident of Franklinton, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton. He was born on Oct. 12, 1933.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Louise Tate; two sons, Alfred Tate and Dwight Tate; three daughters, Renee Tate, Aline Tate and Nicole Tate; three brothers, Benny Tate, Jerry Bickham and Robert Bickham Jr.; and one sister, Rosita Lewis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Tate Sr. and Aline Graves, and one brother, Richard Tate.

Visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 21 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, from 2-6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6-7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, with the Rev. Johnny Causey Sr., pastor, officiating, and Pastor Antoine Graves as eulogist. Interment will be follow at Green Magee Cemetery.
