Susanne Elizabeth “Beth” New, 59, born June 19, 1954, passed away Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, at her residence.

She is survived by two daughters, Faith (Jeffrey) Friedt of Covington, and Christina (Michael) Wall of Angie; four sisters, Kitty (Howard) Temperley of England, Vicki (Ken) Lapp of Seattle, and Ginger Powe and Debra Hinecker, both of Tacoma, Wash.; two grandchildren, Siarra and Mallik Wall; a half-brother, Damien Powe; a half-sister, Nicole Rose; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Her parents, Paul and Jewel Woodward Powe, and a brother, Richard “Ricky” Powe, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. The Rev. Randy Crain will conduct the service.
