George Anthony ‘Tony” Biglane, 46, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at his residence in Bogalusa.

Born in Ft. Stewart, Ga., on Sept. 15, 1967, he spent most of his young life in Belle Chase and Gretna. After school, George went to work with Barriere Construction, where he spent most of his career, 25 years as master mechanic and foreman in the field of construction. He was well liked by his peers and co-workers.

He is survived by his parents, Jesse and Lois Ann Biglane; a son, George Anthony Biglane Jr.; and other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 19 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. Graveside rites will be held on Friday at Ridgeland Cemetery in Ridgeland, Miss.
