Crystal Dawn Edwards of Covington, the daughter of Marvin and Delores Creel of Bogalusa, and Franklin Alexander Conques of Covington, the son of Patrick Conques of Bogalusa and Dixie Conques of Franklinton, are announcing their engagement and approaching marriage.

Employed by the Bank of New Orleans as head teller, the bride-elect is also a student at Delgado Community College pursuing a degree in elementary education. Her grandparents are the late J.L. and Maybelle Keating and Geneva Creel and the late Marvin Creel.

The prospective groom, a graduate of Mt. Hermon High School, is a sales professional employed by Rainbow Buick-GMC. He is the grandson of the late Frank and Lilly Ravencraft, the late Alec Conques and the late Ruby Authement.

Vows will be exchanged at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Blythewood Plantation, with an invitation-only reception immediately following.
