Fans have an opportunity to see the younger players compete today, as Ben’s Ford Christian School hosts the District 6AA girls and boys junior varsity tournament.

The event was originally scheduled for Thursday but moved because of the weather.

Games will feature four 7-minute quarters.

Four girls and four boys teams are vying for the title in the single-elimination tournament. Clubs had to finish in the top four of the five league teams to qualify.

Action begins this morning at 10 with the Centreville girls battling Silliman Institute.

Bowling Green and Centreville’s boys are next at 11:15 a.m., with Bowling Green’s girls facing Central Private at 12:30.

The final contest before the finals features Ben’s Ford against Silliman.

The winners advance to the championship games.

The girls title matchup starts at 5 p.m., while the boys finalists play at 6:30.
