Eudine “Momma Dina” Wilson, 92, departed this life Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, at 9:58 p.m.

Born in Franklinton on July 20, 1921, she was a member of Bethel Church of Christ Holiness, where she served as president of the Usher Board, as a Sunday school teacher and also a faithful choir member. She was married to Mylus “Mike” Wilson and they were blessed with nine children.

She leaves to cherish her memories five sons and four daughters, Roma Jean Long of Franklinton, Mikel O’Neal (Ella) Wilson of New Orleans, Roy (Cora) Wilson of Knox, Miss., Sarah (Larry) Williams of Franklinton, Stanley Wilson of Franklinton, Betty (Frazier) Brock of Minneapolis, and Raymond Wilson, Rochell (Tanya) Wilson and Bronis (Rev. Douglas) Hart, all of Franklinton; 39 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mylus Wilson; her parents, Dewitt and Daisy Magee; three brothers, Oscar, Willie Jay and Joel Magee; and six sisters, Tempie Partman, Freddie Dawson, Marie Magee, Annie Davis, Maddie Tumer and Beatrice Magee.

Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 30 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton from 2-6 p.m., followed by a family hour from 6-7 p.m.

The funeral service was conducted on Friday at 1 p.m. at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness, with the Rev. Jarvis Lee, pastor, officiating. Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery.
