CARPENTER

Robert F. Carpenter, 72, a Bogalusa resident, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was born on Sept. 29, 1941.

He is survived by two sons, Scott (Niki) Carpenter and Keith Carpenter; one daughter, Theresa (Luis) Cabrera; one brother, Shelton Carpenter; one sister, Shirley Pomelow; and five grandchildren, Kayla Carpenter, Hailey Carpenter, Skyler Carpenter, Fletcher Carpenter, Tiffany Watts.

His wife, Emma Pauline Carpenter, and his parents, Johnny and Alma Carpenter, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 25 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m., and will continue on Sunday from noon until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Everette Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in the McNeese Cemetery.
