Eddie Mae Weary May, 84, went from her home to heaven on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014.

Born on Jan. 25, 1929, she was a native of Angie and a longtime resident of Franklinton.

She leaves to cherish her memories a son, James (Margie) Weary of Franklinton; one daughter, Nina Smith Anderson of Las Vegas; a sister, Corine Weary of Angie; numerous nieces and nephews; and a large number of special friends, including Grambling State alumni, Eastern Star sisters, and former Washington Parish teacher co-workers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Weary and Lethan Martin Weary; two brothers, James Weary and Arlee Weary; and one sister, Rosa Lee Peters.

Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 10 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 2-6 p.m. Another visitation will be held on Saturday at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Terrence August, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Moses Cemetery.
