MAGEE

Ruby Dell Williams Magee, 91, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013. Born on July 25, 1922, Ruby was one of 12 children born to Jim and Lillian Williams of Lawrence County, Miss. Originally a resident at 1002 Avenue E, her most recent residence was Resthaven Living Center where she lived for the past 3 1/2 years.

Her memory will always be cherished by her family: Dana and Brenda Magee of Franklinton; Vickie Magee (Wayne) of Slidell; Jimmie Dale and Lenora Magee of Sumrall, Miss., and Richard and LaJuana Magee of North Little Rock, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph (O.D.) Magee, and a son, Kenneth Wayne Magee.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 28 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from noon until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

The family extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staffs of LSU Bogalusa Medical Center and Resthaven Living Center for their extraordinary care and efforts for our loved one.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations go to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
