LANGLOIS

Karen Seal Langlois, 78, a resident of Bogalusa, born Sept. 6, 1935, in Bogalusa, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Bogalusa.

She is survived by her husband, E. J. Langlois Sr. of Bogalusa; two sons, Wade Sigrest of Cebu, Phillipines, and Kyle Sigrest of Austin, Texas; three stepdaughters, Sharon Bunch, Deborah Storey and Carolyn McDaniel, all of Zachary; a stepson, Elliot Joseph Langlois Jr. of St. John, Fla.; one brother, Elmo Seal of Bogalusa; and four grandchildren, Kade Sigrest, Josh Edgerton, Brian Sigrest and Autumn Sigrest.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Kerrie Sigrest, and her parents, Jewel Walton Seal and Dorothy Benson Seal.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 22 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m.

Visitation will continue Monday in the funeral home chapel from 11 a.m. until time for the funeral services at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Greg Whaley officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa.
