Sheila Templet Darity, 51, a resident of Franklinton, died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at Louisiana Heart Hospital.

Born April 13, 1962, Sheila was a very fun-loving person who always lived her life to the fullest. She enjoyed going to and watching movies and loved every moment spent with her grandchildren and family. She was forever a dedicated New Orleans Saints fan, and win or lose, maybe their loudest supporter.

She is survived by her mother, Francine Templet of Franklinton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Darrell LaSalle and Holly and Joshua Breland, all of Franklinton; a son, Michael Darity Jr.; five grandchildren, Shaun Breland, Madison LaSalle, Jasper LaSalle, Noah Breland and Braxton Breland; a sister and brother-in-law, Susie and West Goodrich of Franklinton; a brother, Timothy Templet of Franklinton; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Darity Sr., and her father, Herbert Templet.

Visitation will take place Friday, Dec. 20 at Crain Funeral Home from 2 p.m. until time for the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Elder Yancy Magee officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be her five grandchildren and a special nephew, Ryan Templet.
