The Dog Tags for Kids Project is dedicated to helping deployed U.S. service men and women connect with their children at home.

To that end, specially engraved dog tags in the appropriate service color are provided to the service members for their children at no charge. Each dog tag is engraved, “With love from Dad (Mom), U.S. (Service), (Country), 2013.”

The four children of Virginia Corkern, who is deployed with the 205th Engineer Battalion of the Louisiana Army National Guard in Kuwait, recently received their dog tags and proudly display them in the accompanying photos.
